Overview of the SystemX Industrial Affiliates Program

Through connections to Stanford’s robust and diverse research ecosystem, SystemX members engage directly with leading faculty and students to drive collaborative innovation in computing, semiconductors, AI, and emerging technologies. These engagements offer organizations access to emerging ideas, fresh perspectives on complex technical challenges, and opportunities to connect with future research leaders and talent.

SystemX-affiliated faculty and students span departments across the School of Engineering, School of Humanities & Sciences, School of Medicine, the Doerr School of Sustainability, and other schools across the university. These include fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, and others—capturing innovation across the spectrum from core research to transformative technologies in practice.
