SystemX 2025 Spring Workshop
Designing Chips for AI with AI
May 22, 2025 | Stanford Arrillaga Alumni Center | McCaw Hall
This workshop discusses the dual facets of semiconductor chip design for AI applications as well as leveraging AI methodologies in the chip design process itself. Speakers will delve into the architectural advancements and technical nuances of designing semiconductor chips optimized for AI workloads, and we will also address the innovative use of AI techniques in the semiconductor design process by demonstrating how AI can enhance design efficiency, accuracy, and speed.
Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the symbiotic relationship between AI and semiconductor design, along with actionable insights for future developments in the field.
The preliminary list of speakers includes Stanford professors: Subhasish Mitra, Priyanka Raina, Thierry Tambe, and Caroline Trippel, and technical industry luminaries: Chuck Alpert (Fellow at Cadence), Fergus Casey (Executive Director at Synopsys), and Amit Gupta (Corporate Vice President at AMD).
