Guidelines from Stanford Career Education for our member company postings:
- Clear Employer Identification
- If the roles are with affiliate member companies (rather than Stanford itself), clearly identify the hiring organization and make it explicit that the position is external to Stanford.
- Compensation Transparency
- For California-based roles, include a salary or salary range in accordance with state pay transparency laws.
- Role Classification & Compliance
- Ensure positions are properly classified (internship vs. full-time; exempt/non-exempt where applicable) and comply with all applicable federal and state employment laws.
- Equal Opportunity Language
- Include appropriate EEO/nondiscrimination statements in postings.
