A modern electrical vehicle is essentially a networked computer on wheels and the architecture of the various systems in an EV is designed such that there can be a continuity of SW upgrades over the lifetime of the vehicle. Some of the key subsystems include Vehicle Dynamics, HMI ( Human Machine Interface), Networking, Communications & Autonomy. This talk is focused on  an introduction to these key subsystems including some challenges in each domain.

Bio:

Prasun Raha has a a PhD in EE from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on circuit design. He has spent over 25 years in various Semiconductor companies leading design activities on PLL and high speed transceiver designs to SOC bringup and system level validation. In his current role at RIvian he  leads the Rivian Electrical Harwdware System Architecture team.
