For decades, Memory has proven to be one of the most brutally competitive corners of the Semiconductor Industry, where companies are faced with massive investment requirements, vicious supply cycles, and the ongoing threat of nationalized competition. Yet semiconductor Memory is more critical to our leading-edge electronic systems than ever before. This presentation will focus on the history and current landscape of the Semiconductor Memory Industry, discussing a number of the key technical and business challenges through time, and implications for the path forward.
