Stanford University, Stanford Medical, and SLAC have joined the global fight against COVID-19. The projects range from direct investigations of the virus itself and how it affects the body, to models utilizing social media or other communication data bases to study social distancing, the projected spread of the virus, and everything in between.
There are many different ways to support this research – direct ‘gift’ or SystemX membership funding, collaborative research partnerships, ‘in-kind’ support such as access to cloud servers and/or data bases to enable newly-developed large scale models, direct support of class projects conducted by student teams, offers of remote internships for students to extend their work in collaboration with your company, etc.
